Summary and Recommendations

In her closing speech, Federal Minister Schavan said: "This conference has made it clear that educational issues have stepped out of the shadows. Our declared goal is to enable everybody to acquire educational qualifications and thus give them the opportunity to participate in all aspects of society. We want every single child in the world to have access to education and be adequately prepared for the demands of working life."
